We offer high-quality, step-by-step acrylic painting videos captured with five cameras and state-of-the-art recording and editing equipment to a global audience. Our video lessons cover a wide range of painting styles and techniques, including in-depth subjects like portrait painting and design. Through our exclusive Personal Art Coaching program, artists from around the world can get personalized feedback and advice from professional artist Ginger Cook by sharing their paintings and receiving email responses and personal videos. Our tutorials are designed for viewing on multiple devices, and we also provide technical support to ensure a smooth online learning experience for all. Our Royal Purple Membership community center allows purple members to engage further with Ginger, Jon, and other acrylic artists.

Benefits for Royal Purple Members
What are the newest benefits of becoming a Royal purple Member?
Royal Purple Members are part of Ginger Cook’s Academy of Fine Art and Acrylic Painting, where acrylic artists focus on learning to create their own independent art through Acrylic tutorials, photo challenges, and a supportive community of acrylic artists.
As a Purple Member, you will have access to the Academy’s complete library of tutorials for Red Members and other lower membership levels. These tutorials cover a range of subjects, including landscapes, old masterworks, still lifes, flowers, and animals. In addition, we are excited to announce a new focus for our Purple Members: the art of including people as the main subject in landscape paintings and the techniques and styles involved in painting portraits. The tutorial series named “People in Paintings” will cover how to use acrylics in photorealism, impressionism, and palette knife techniques. In the past, our regular Red Membership tutorials may have included paintings with people as subjects. We are changing our offering to give exclusive access to our Royal Purple Members for all new tutorials that feature or focus on people. This also includes any current 3-Cookie and above tutorials that include people as subjects. This decision has been made to provide additional value and exclusive content to our Purple Members.
Also, as a Purple Member, you previously had access to our Wave and Water Master Class and our Red Member’s video library of step-by-step tutorials. As of today, we have a library of over 100 step-by-step Wave and Water tutorials covering a wide range of subjects, including lakes, rivers, waterfalls, old master’s artworks, and ocean waves. These tutorials cover a variety of painting styles, from palette knife to impressionism, and are designed to provide our acrylic artists with a comprehensive course on mastering the technique of painting water as the main subject.
Purple members have previously requested more information about painting design. Our 4-Cookie and Box of Cookie lessons already include painting design elements, and we recommend watching these more challenging releases to learn about this topic. In 2023, we plan to delve deeper into painting design and help members choose the right photos, subjects, and painting styles for their projects.
Red and Purple members have previously been able to receive personalized art coaching through our Personal Art Coaching (PAC) ticket system by sending in photos of artwork by other artists as reference. However, starting this year, Royal Purple members will have the added benefit of being able to submit their own personal projects, with up to 4 per month, for PAC suggestions. These projects must be based on original photos, not the artwork of other artists, living or dead. We reserve the right to reject poor-quality images or those that do not have good composition, and we will explain our reasoning. When submitting a project, please provide a good reference photo and specify the painting style you wish to use, such as Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, or someone more contemporary. You should also submit an example of the desired style for reference. It is recommended to send multiple references for your subject. Submitting artists should be at least at a 3-Cookie level or higher for the subject they are painting. Only one original project may be submitted at a time and must be completed before submitting another.
